Online worship for Sunday, March 22, 2020

On Sunday we’ll try worshipping online for the first time via Zoom. Before our worship at 6 pm on Sunday, I invite you to read the scriptures

1 Kings 3:5-12

Romans 8:26-39

Matthew 13:31-35

and listen to my recorded reflection posted at (and linked to from our church sermon page:

When we meet Sunday, we’ll pray, share joys and concerns, and have some time to offer your own thoughts on the scripture and recorded reflection. I think I’ll also include a time of communion so if you want to participate in that have elements on hand for yourself. If you have bread and grape juice that’s great but I think crackers and Pepsi (or whatever you have) work just fine too. The important thing is that we take time to remember Christ and open ourselves to the working of the Spirit.

I hope you’ll join us! If you want the connection information and did not already receive it via email, please send a message to the office email address or fill out the contact page on the web site. After the service, I’d love to hear your feedback about what worked and didn’t work as well as what new ideas we might try the following Sunday.
